On Wednesday 29th October the Santa Cruz Design+Innovation Center will hold a panel discussion and networking event at Johnson Art Studio, 1055 17th Avenue, Santa Cruz, beginning at 6:30 pm.
The panel will consist of Annie Morhauser of Annieglass, Roy Johnson of Johnson Art Studio, and Jim Gentes, founder of Giro Helmets. All will talk about the problems and rewards of moving from individual craftwork or design production to running a design-based manufacturing business. The presentations and discussion will be preceded by a tour of the Johnson Art Studio factory, and the evening will close with refreshments and networking.
