Sara Isenberg, Web Consulting & Project Management

Sara Isenberg is the principal consultant at Sara Isenberg Web Consulting & Project Management, a business consultancy specializing in web consulting, project management, and social media marketing/social media consulting. As a web consultant, Sara works with businesses on strategy, planning, and best practices for web projects, social media marketing, email marketing, and blogging. As a project manager, Sara works with web and other tech professionals to keep projects on track, and maintain effective communication with a wide variety of clients.

As principal consultant at this business consulting firm, Sara has extensive experience in the corporate software industry, much of that as a technical account manager where she managed technical relationships between software engineering teams and strategic partners and clients. Sara began working as an independent project manager in 2005, serving web producers and small businesses. She appreciates both the details and the big picture, and gets satisfaction in bringing organization to any software or business endeavor. Sara particularly enjoys bridging the communication between the technical and non-technical. Sara says:

In addition to working as a web consultant and project manager, Sara is a Technology Advisor with the Silicon Valley Small Business Development Center’s Technology Advisory Program, also known as SBDC / TAP. Sara was honored by SBDC / TAP for Excellence in Economic Impact Performance 2011. Sara teaches technology classes through the City of Santa Cruz Parks & Recreation including How to Prepare for Your Website Overhaul or New Website, Expand Your Reach with Social Media, ABC’s of SEO — Basics of Search Engine Optimization, and Build a Free Blog or Website with WordPress.com. Sara was on the organizing committee for  TEDx Santa Cruz, held June 2011, and curated TEDxSantaCruz’s Twitter and Facebook presence. Sara is listed by We Magazine for Women in 101 Women Bloggers to Watch for 2009. She holds degrees in Computer Science from University of California Santa Cruz and Sociology from the University of Oregon.
