An Architecture Salon will be held at NextSpace on Thursday 4th of December at 6:30 pm. Martha Matson of Matson Britton Architects, Mark Primack of Mark Primack Architecture, and Matthew Thompson of Thacher and Thompson Architects will discuss the state of architecture, particularly relating to Santa Cruz, with each other and those present.
In addition, the San Francisco documentary makers Leslie and Robin Streit will show a preliminary edit of their documentary on the architect and designer Henry P. Glass and his wife Elly. This is a portrait of a couple who were years ahead of their time, since Elly and Henry Glass were living “green” long before the phrase had been coined. Pizza and wine will be served.
